I saw a really cute owl on the riley blake blog and they kindly sent me the link to the pattern. Tonight I made my firs one, they are really quick, it took about an hour and I reckon you could get 3 from a long quarter plus some oddments for wings or feet.
I intend to do a family in different sizes. I have put it next to maddi's bed so will see what she thinks in the morning, but here he is wasting for her....any ideas for names?
Mummy (Alex) could never sew as a child so abandoned it for stamping and scrapbooking but after the great British sewing bee I am having a good go; Maddi is now 6 and a half and is loving learning something new too.
We have a busy life and this is our little place to share with distant friends what is going on in the 'madhouse' as well as our progress and creations.
